We've employed Dan's services for home improvements and repairs over several years. Our biggest project was for the kitchen. We wanted a design that would allow a view of the backyard while we cooked & cleaned. Dan's team also moved the side entry and rebuilt the exterior stairs. The kitchen now has a new, vibrant look that we could only imagine before, and just as we wished, a great view of the backyard gardens and neighborhood trees. Visitors are always impressed!

Dan was great to work with. He was professional and always came when he said he would. His proposal of work included all details and a mockup of what the final project would look like. He built new back steps for us as well as a major project of opening up the wall between our kitchen and dining room. They put plastic up to ensure the house didn't get dirty and always cleaned up at the end of each day. The work is wonderful and after almost two years still looks amazing. I plan to use DdA Home Remodel again!

After having had a bad string of luck with recent home repairs, we found Dan on Yelp and used his company for a bunch of jobs. His partner Noel refinished our kitchen cabinets, redid the windowsills in our living room, replastered a wall in our basement, and repainted our bathroom. We talked to Dan on the phone about what we wanted and then Noel came and gave us an estimate and started work the next Monday. He was pleasant to be around and did what I consider to be an enormous amount of work in 4 days. We will definitely use them again if we need any more work done and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I also liked that they were able to do various types of work, so I didn't have to hire a separate carpenter and painter, etc.

Our 120+ year old home had last had any kitchen work done more than 40 years prior and was in desperate need of a complete renovation. After receiving excellent reviews of his work from friends, we contacted Dan de Angeli in late 2021 and asked him to come give us an estimate for this job. He showed up soon after with his carpenter Noel. From the start, it was clear that Dan and his team were up to the task of creating a new kitchen for our home. Dan immediately brought in an experienced kitchen designer who created a plan much better than any we had imagined possible. From there, Noel along with the assorted trades people involved were able to use that plan to give us a kitchen that meets all our storage and cooking needs and is beautiful to look at. Throughout the construction process, Dan returned all calls promptly when we had any questions and was able to answer our questions and address any issues that arose. We appreciated Noel’s carpentry magic and the skill with which Dan managed all facets of the job. We give Dan de Angeli our highest recommendation.

Dan's handyman Noel was incredibly efficient. He also proved to be knowledgeable, personable, (musical, I must add) and willing to work around our daily routines. We were very impressed by his expertise and careful, detailed work. Particularly unusual and wonderful was how well he cleaned up after himself -- there wasn't a shred of garbage or scraps lying around afterwards. We are also grateful that Dan responded promptly to all of our messages, and for being absolutely clear about pricing policies and estimate. It was a completely new experience for us to deal with a trades person who is so responsible and trustworthy. We will certainly call him again when we have more work to be done.

Dan and team did a terrific job renovating our third bedroom. We needed to close up an opening, replace a door and repaint. All items were done on or ahead of schedule. He was able to keep any dust contained during the work and cleaned up after himself. Most important, he was very good with communications up front and throughout this short project.

Dan, Noel and Bertie are great to work with and very accommodating. Dan reviewed our needs, helped us with concept and scheduled the work to be completed during a tight turnaround timeframe. Noel is a meticulous carpenter and Bertie's dovetail plastering was perfect. We are very happy and hope to engage DdA Home Remodel soon again on a new project.

We had a very positive experience with DdA Home Remodel. We hired Dan to repair the bathroom in our condo, which had been damaged by a water leak from the unit above. Dan helped us interpret our insurance appraisal and he contacted our appraiser directly in order to get us more money for the repairs. Prior to initiating the repairs, Dan created a reader-friendly contract that detailed the scope of the job and he met with us to ensure that we understood the project. Dan and his colleagues always showed up when they said they would and Dan continuously updated us on the progress and timeline. In total, Dan and his colleagues replaced our ceiling, walls, added subway tile, repaired our vanity cabinet, painted the walls, and installed a mirror/medicine cabinet. We are very happy with our bathroom repairs and the final product far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely hire Dan for any future contracting needs.
